GamingIndians began as simply 360Indians.com in November 2006. 360Indians was a coming together of like-minded Xbox 360 owners who sought an open and independent destination for Indians to discuss gaming – a place that catered to Indians first and where expressing a strong opinion wouldn’t get you into trouble.

With the launch of the PlayStation 3 in April 2007, 360Indians expanded into GamingIndians, now encompassing all three next-generation consoles. Our focus remained console gaming.

On August 15, 2007, we moved GamingIndians from the free Proboards service to our own severs. As a result, we lost all of our forum discussions and our 1,000-plus member base. We started from scratch and rebuilt GamingIndians, and in less than six months, we were back to 1,000 members.

In June 2008, by popular demand, we started the GamingIndians’ PC section, to cater to the PC gamers among our community and thousands of other PC gamers across India. On August 15, 2008, a year after moving from Proboards and starting afresh, we launched the GamingIndians blog.

GamingIndians is all about the community. It is our members that set us apart from every other gaming website in India, and even as we grow, the community will always remain our focus.
